Quit Lying To Yourself

Cody Alt | Jan 8 2025

Are you still as motivated as you promised yourself you would be this year?

Doing all the things that you were going to change and how this year would be different from last? I hope so.

We’re two days away from when the majority of society gives up and goes right back to doing the same bullshit.

The 10th of January.

Most people can’t make it 10 fucking day’s doing things that they promised themselves would be different.

That’s who you’re up against.

Everybody is so distracted by everything that is going on in their lives.

Binge-watching shows, their friends’ birthday, or some other excuse to get them to where they want to go.

This year, I will motivate you to change your life.

If you read this and want to improve, stay disciplined and don’t give up. I want to help you do so.

I am thinking of opening a group for you. It would be for like-minded people who need positivity and motivation to keep going when they want to quit.

A community.

If that’s something you think would be valuable to your life. Simply reply YES to this email.

If you don’t know what to do. There’s your blueprint.

Every single action you take should improve you or your life in some way. Or don’t do it.

Is living on social media improving your life?

No.

Is lying on the couch every day, watching junk, good for you?

No.

Is gossiping about people beneficial to your life?

No.

Is binge-drinking for days on end healthy for your mind and body?

No.

I could go on.

All of these things are things that destroy you.

It makes you worse than you are.

So why do you do them?

You know deep down they’re not good for you.

They’re making you weak, poor, depressed, and stealing valuable time on earth.

But here you are. Still doing them every day.

What are we doing every day if we’re not trying to improve in all areas of life?

Because it’s a distraction from the real problems that you have in your life.

Instead of fixing them, you deter your brain from it.

You’re not ready to confront the issues and sort them out.

You’re not ready to improve.

I know you want to achieve your goals, improve yourself, and make your life better.

But you can’t focus for 10 minutes.

You need that constant social media dopamine hit.

Or some other unhealthy distraction.

It’s gonna be hard to get rid of that, but you have to stop.

Anybody can change. Because I’m living proof of it.

I still do things to fuck up my life.

But I’m aware. I’m taking severe action.

I make sure there are repercussions for my actions.

You need to start having hard conversations with yourself.

It’s a tough pill to swallow. When you realize the person that’s been holding you back this entire time is yourself.

Things that are crippling your growth. People who don’t serve you anymore, and keeping you from where you want to go.

To who you want to be.

We are all in need of improvement.

The one who needs to do the improvement is the one who needs to be improved.

Quit your bullshit.

Stop lying to yourself.

Stop breaking promises to yourself.

Start doing one thing better today.

Then build off that.

One of my biggest fears is that if I look back at who I was last year and I am the same person, that would be depressing.

I hope this helped you, share it with a friend in need.

Your Montana Friend,

Cody

Cody Alt | July 2nd, 2025 Do you ever feel like you’re running around, trying to keep up with everyone else’s plans? Parties, hangouts, family events, work drama, it’s a lot. And while you’re busy saying “yes” to all these things, shit you want to accomplish gets pushed to the back burner. Most people stay average because they’re so caught up in the noise of other people’s priorities. You can choose to be different. discipline, motivation, entrepreneur, success, gratitude

Cody Alt | June 11, 2025 Growing up in a small Montana town, I was taught discipline before I could spell it. Ranch work didn’t care if I was tired. Running heavy equipment demanded focus, not feelings. I worked with adults and I couldn't be the kid that complained. That grit and relentlessness has carried me to over $225 million in online sales as a serial entrepreneur. Discipline wasn’t a choice, it was survival. Now, it’s my weapon. Let me show you how to make it yours. In a world of...
